Default port 6346?


I open 6346 for limewire is this really an issue?

That depends. A port is only open if some device is "listening" at that port
address. An open port is only vulnerable to exploitation if the listening device
is vulnerable to exploitation. Limewire is the controlling factor. If it is
vulnerable, you are vulnerable. If it isn't, you aren't. It doesn't matter what
port you use.

Very good answer, so if limewire is "off line" an open 6346 means
nothing...thanks
