Default linux firewall


Anyone know of a good detailed firewall for linux?

iptables. I cant imagine there being any more details out for it. IPcop,
Smoothwall. If you go to google and do a search I bet you'll find one or
two out there.

FYI (in case you didn't know):
IPcop, Smoothwall and Shorewall are just GUI frontends for iptables.

I use I prefer it over IPTABLES some people will argue that you cant NAT
with IPFIREWALL but you can .. all depends on your distro of Linux ... check
the readmes there will be a firewall in there somewhere

That's what happens when you use sucky newsreaders. Seems like they

You got a link to this mystical firewall? The only one I've ever seen
was for BSD-type OSs.
