how is it possible to post anonymous in a newsgroup?

Nope. It is because he posted to an NNTP server which does not display
the NNTP-Posting-Host in the open.

Post from a news server that offers anonymous posting. I use newsfeeds
and they are re-arranging there servers and have switched everybody to
their anonymous server. This posting should come up with the name
"nemo", but will appear with the name "anonymous.
