Default New Style Certificate

I recently got my mcp certificate through the post, and I have to say Im
pretty disappointed! It looks crap, it looks like it was designed by a 5 year
old, has anybody else seen the new mcp certificates? what do you think of
them.

I think the old style mcp certificates were much better

I have this new one, and i was really disappointed too. Im awaiting
another one for mcdba. The certificate looks really bad, bud wallet card
looks much worse. MCT cert has also a new design, bud it is much better
than mcp/mcsa. Its a white peace of paper with a name and cert. logo ..

well basically it looks very cheap and basic and it looks like it has been
printed on paper. And to tell the truth they look like fake certificates, I
could easily reproduce one using something as simple as microsoft word. Thats
how terrible they are.

I called microsoft and asked them if they was any chance if getting my
certificate in the old style, but they said no.

Did they tell you the name of the bright guy who designed the New
generation certificates ?

Hi marek. I just called microsoft again and asked to spok to the management
reponce team. I made a complaint about the design and appearance of the
certificate and they said they would get back to me. Maybe you do the same
too, perhaps if enough people complain they might redesign the certificate.

It seems to me that the new one looks better (professional look) than the
old one.

No way ! Being plain is not necessarily being more professional. Thanks
for that great link, airwalker. It has scanned images of the two
versions, so I could see for myself.

If you noticed the last post on the page, it has an image of the
revised version of the new format. This, I think, looks much better. It
has the right touch of professionalism and the right understated touch.

In any case, I always had a bone about the certs being signed simply
"Bill Gates". I would have much preferred them to be signed by the
active CEO, or atleast Bill Gates along with his company designation. I
know the name "Bill Gates" is a household name, but still, a
designation should be mentioned. And anyway, why use the common "Bill"
? Why shouldn't it be signed as "William Henry Gates III" ?

Yeah the attachment in the last post is really neat and professional not
like the old cartooned. I would recommend Microsoft to follow this pattern
for all the certificates.

Perhaps Bill Gates thinks that everyone knows he is a CEO.
