One word... Dazzling! Blazing Saddles, though shot several decades ago, looks pristine! I am absolutely dazzled! Menus that come up WHILE the flic continues playing... COOL! Roy L. Fuchs |

I would much rather have an "audio" button on the remote to toggle back and forth between audio tracks on the fly, without having any type of intervening menu at all. -Junior |

The film does not stop, and the menu comes up at the bottom of the screen, and has sound effects. Pretty sure that only HD DVDs do it, yet not all HD players made so far have the capacity to provide it. I'd have to see a screen shot to change my mind... <shrug> |

I am >talking about the DVD's menus, not the player's. been able to switch between all the different audio formats on my standard Pioneer DV-626D for 4 years now with just a button without leaving the movie. Whats so special about that? The HD-XA1 is just a PC drive in a simple crappy computer OS driven chassis. Why do you put up with its long load times? |

So have I on several player models, but that is NOT what I said, you dumb****. Learn to read. HD DVD movies load the menu INTO the HD DVD player before the movie even starts, and it gets read from memory during playback. It also appears under the flic, so not just sound selections, but ALL available DVD menu selections are available. |

Your problem is that you can't do something once your place your porn in your drive. If it doesn't come up right away, you get bent out of shape. Too bad, dumbass, I am not as stupid as you are. I hope you aren't one of those ****tards that drives such that delays **** with your head. You are part of the problem. I do not add up Windows start times either, even though mine are much faster than most folks machines are. Life just isn't that tragic. Life is now Hi Res, however. 6 times higher. Even the up-converted DVDs are much better looking. |
