PIX and Virtual Interfaces question

Hi All,

Our firewalls run in a fail-over configuration (PIX 525 Firewalls). It is
running version 6.2 of the software. Upgrading to version 6.3 enables
virtual interface capabilities/VLANs, which we would like to use. My
question is this; does the Fail-Over interface count as one of the 8 (max)
10/100MB physical interfaces out of a possible 12 total (physical & logical
interfaces) on PIX version 6.3?

Thanks,
Jeff

I'm not sure, but I would think that -likely- it does.

I don't have an Unrestricted license so I can't experiment.

Is "meme" descriptive or perscriptive? Does the knowledge that
memes exist not subtly encourage the creation of more memes?
