I was looking for a way to check sites in Win IE 5 (saw something
alarming on a Win 95 box I was visiting last night). Tried a link from < http://www.donotremove.co.uk/weblog/...eenshot-sites/ > (which suggested "IECapture: Free, run by Dan Vine, shows screenshots on Iexplorer 4.01-6.0", but that link, < http://www.danvine.com/iecapture/ >, does not exactly say which IE and I suspect 6. -- dorayme dorayme |

Actually, if you look at the very bottom of the page (and which is also noted in the link from Dan's other screenshot engine, iCapture), it's using IE7 public beta 2. -- Kim André Akerř - (remove NOSPAM to contact me directly) |

I see it has a link to 7, that's all, it does not say on my version here it is using it. I am not saying it is unreasonable to assume this but it is a leap... on the icapture page it explicitly says "iCapture uses OS X 10.4.4 running Safari 2.0.3 (417. ieCapture page. Anyway, the main point is this: it sure as hell is not using IE 5 because the alarming things I saw do not appear. Looks like I better get IE 5 for my Winbox on 98 (it has 6). -- dorayme |

Just once in a blue moon I need it... No matter... For anyone who might have Win IE5, is there any known issue of a left or right border showing up in an inline list? One way to make a separator is to put border-left: 1px black solid; for the list items. IE 5 on a Win 95 box surprised me in not showing this border... I better look into it... -- dorayme |

Yes, but I am on a Mac and it is not always convenient to fire up Win box... But, remind me please, you are able to install IE different versions on a PC and run them ok, one at a time of course? No probs installing different versions? -- dorayme |
