Hi
THis is my first posting so if I am in wrong place please accept my
apologies. I am a computer illiterate mum who has just got a new computer
which has Windows XP. I have managed to sort most things out but for some
reason I am unable to access my daughters school website. I always could
before and I can on the laptop just not on the new one. it is
www.loreto.3rdeye.com.au All the tabs that had titles like events, news,
administation etc are now replaced by red crosses and I can't access
anything. I am getting soo frustrated so if I am in the right place!! and
someone can give a confused aussie mum some help I would really appreciate it.
Kind regards

Hi muppet,

You are indeed posting in the wrong place, but I believe we can still
help you out... (Anything for a sweet aussie mum !)

Try clicking on <http://loreto.3rdeye.com.au/>. If the site that you
want to go to is "Loreto College, Coorparoo.", then this appears to be
the right site. The site seems to open up fine. However, note that I
had to remove the "www" part from the address. The crosses in place of
buttons, that you were seeing, might have indicated that the website
admins were doing some maintenance work on the site.

Hope this will help...

Hi Cerebus
Sorry! I had this feeling I was going down the wrong path (lol). Yes it is
the school site and I changed it to http// but still nothing. Stupid thing is
if I search it on the lap top there is no problem! I wonder if maybe it is my
antivirus. Thanks for your kind help though!!

Could you paste in the exact address you are typing to reach the site,
when it doesn't open up... ?

Hmmm... Opens up fine. Looks like something might be blocking the
site... a firewall or something.
