newgroup error message

Can anyone identify error message #502? I am getting it when I click on a
newgroup. It says that I have received an unknown response has been received
in response to a request for information from this news server. I have one
question posted in a group, and have been getting regular replies until this
error box began appearing. Thanks for help.
