All installed extensions suddenly gone !!!

Suddenly all my installed extensions are gone. There's nothing more
there under Menu / Tools.

I do see however that under

C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application
Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\l2n49sjy.default

everything still is there.

perhaps you created a new profile by mistake. Exit FF. Then click on
Start, Run and enter exactly:

firefox.exe -p

this will bring up the FF profile manager. How many profiles do you
see? If you see more than one, click on them one at a time until you
find your main profile. You can delete the previous ones that you
don't need.
