I have been running a wireless LAN with the host computer an XP and the
client a 98 using wirless adapter (BELKIN). The network and wireless internet access works fine between these two computers. I recently purchased a laptop with wireless capabilities and tried to add it to the network. I am able to get wireless internet access but cannot get on the network. Can't see the other two computers and the other computers can't see the laptop. Any suggestions? =?Utf-8?B?U3R1bXBlZA==?= |

Check your third party security software. Every brand name computer sold
these days comes with a battery of such software and it is almost always configured to block everything except Internet. Ok. I know a little but help me out with "third party security software".
Does this mean firewall and how do I configure it? The laptop is a Toshiba running XP Home BTW. Thanks! "Doug Sherman [MVP]" wrote: > Check your third party security software. Hi
May be this can Help. Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings, http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what is allowed to be shared. http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;304040 Jack (MVP-Networking).
