Hi.... To capture data from ethernet card we have lot of tools like ethreal and a packet capture library WinPcap. My doubt is whether WinPcap support capturing wireless frames -with NETGEAR WAB501 wireless adapter or Wireless PC card WAG511 v2 . Or do we need to write an intermediate NDIS protocol driver for this purpose? please comment on this topic... thanks in advance... vimal vimal |

Ethernet is Ethernet, Wireless past the Card is Ethernet so the combo
ethreal/WinPcap should work provided the specific card is compatible), you might want to add this to the mix too, http://home.comcast.net/~jay.deboer/airsnare/ Jack (MVP-Networking).
