Summary:

We have 20 or more PC on the building. The network was not so-well
documented. In the administration area we have a pc who can connect to
all pc but not to the two other PCs in separate building.

Problem:

I need to share files and printers to all of the computers on the
network but can't do that since I cant see the PC appearing on my
network.

Detailed Description:

All PCs are running XP SP2 no firewalls enabled. Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS: 192.168.0.1

Workgroup ADMIN has two PCs named AD-01(192.168.0.95
mask:255.255.255.0) and HR-O1(192.168.0.94 mask:255.255.255.0). The two
PC could not connect each other but could see all other PC on the
network except that AD-01 could not see/connect to a certain PC named
SP-01(192.168.0.98 mask:255.255.255.0) on workgroup ISUPPORT. All of
the other PC on the network could connect to both HR-01 and AD-01.

HR-01 and SP-01 could not connect to AD-01.

What can be the problem here. I am just beginning to administer this
network..

The question does not appear to relate to Wireless Networking; however I am
in a good mood

I hope that you are aware that WinXP Pro is capable to maintain only 10
concurrent Network connections. You have 20 PC in what appears to be peer to
peer?

The first thing that you should consider is switching the network to work
around Windows 2003 SBS Server (
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserv...s/default.mspx )

Otherwise download this program
(http://www.softperfect.com/products/networkscanner )run it and choose to
show all the options. Scan the Network by IP ranges and it would show you
all the Network Resources.
