Cisco Dead Peer detection

Hi, I have the ISAKMP keepalive command set on two cisco nodes
connected back to back, and I have debug turned on but can't seem to
see any notify messages for dead peer detection (DPD). The isakmp sa
shows that I have dead peer detection enabled. Am I missing some
other config ? Or is there a stricter set of rules that need to be
met before the nodes will actually send out DPD messages? The nodes
are running s/w versions 12.2.15 and 12.2.13.

Thanks
julien
