I am having huge problems trying to get sound onto my PC would anyone out there be able to give me advice on what to do with the information supplied ... hoping?

You are using the rear speaker ports, right? This motherboard also has front audio header, and that might disable the rear ports. Pull the front audio cable if you are using it, and see if the rear audio header is working. Make sure you have loaded all the chipset drivers that came with the motherboard CD. Look for updates on the motherboard web site: http://www.albatron.com.tw/english/i....asp?pro_id=49
Try plugging in only the front speakers (green port) to see if any sound comes out. Make sure you are using speakers that are known to work by trying them with another computer first. bigal

Also make sure Sound is Enabled in BIOS, and that you have installed the drivers for the sound card.
