I have adsl broadband connected to desktop. All works fine. I have notebook
networked via ethernet cable. All works fine. Can't get it to go wireless. I did have access to files and printer wirelessle but after fiddling.....Can't get internet sharing at all. Whenever I try to connect wirelessly, unsuccessfully, I have to reconfihure my PC for broadband. Have no idea what I am doing wrong, other than doing it too often and getting completely confused. Do I have to set up an entirely new network connection and if so is it pc-network connect wizard and notebook - wirless network connection wizard or is it the same wizard that I run on both machines, if so which wizard is it? Both machines are XP 1's home t'other is pro. I have adsl modem/router connected to PC with user name and IP address on the underside of it. Broadband provider is Westnet iconnect. D-Link DWL-G510 wireless desktop adapter. D-Link DI-524 wireless router, still in box and internal Broadcom 802.11g in notebook and a husband who is driving me madder than these machines. Would really appreciate some help with this!!!! =?Utf-8?B?aGF6ZXk=?= |
