Hi folks,

Can someone recommend an easy to use popup blocker. Every time I use the
Internet it's like watching fireworks. I spend 5 minutes trying to close
down all the windows that popup.

Try Mozilla instead of OE. It has a built in popup blocker.

Unless all you surf are warez or porn sites, 5 minutes sounds like a slight
exaggaration. But anyways, get adaware from here
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/. Also get Spybot from here
http://tinyurl.com/j1ik (download links at the bottom of page). These'll
remove any junk you might have (like Gator) that'll popup ads even though
the actual webpages aren't doing any such thing.

Then get a popup killer. Personally I use the Google toolbar.

Pro - 30 day trial, http://www.zonelabs.com

Also, get AdAware (free version) and Spybot Search & Destroy - Frode gave
you the URLs for those. Both free. Don't forget to immediately update both
of them and use the Immunize function in Spybot.

If you use NEtscape Navigator, it has a built in means to suppress popups.
