Senior Product Manager - Marketing - Security Software - Montreal

Our client develops products and services to protect Internet users
worldwide. A new position has been created for a Senior Product
Manager-Marketing (based in Montreal) that will be responsible for
roadmapping, market penetration, developing and articulating the vision of
those products and services.

In this position you'll be expected to effectively serve as both a business
leader and entrepreneur for all associated products. In addition, you will
work on a range of diverse problems, requiring the merging of creative
visions with technology to provide products and services designed to meet
the computer security needs of consumers.

Key Responsibilities:


Driving the product definition process and product roadmap
Market penetration, brand awareness.
Gathering client requirements
Working with the engineering team to define the next generation of security
products and services with the
collaboration of senior management
Working closely with the Engineering, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure
timely product delivery and release
Supporting the Sales with the creation of marketing programs, collaterals
and sales support materials

Ideal Requirements:

5-7 years of top notch product marketing/management experience with security
software applications.
Excllent knowledge of telecommunication applications and industry, coupled
with a technical degree.
Ability to develop marketing plans from inception to roll out, excellent
project management experience.
Ability to develop rfps, white papers, present forecasts and product and
market opportunities to the board.
Technical knowledge should include IP networking, IP-based applications such
as HTTP, operating systems, applications infrastructure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and project management skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
