I am doing some research on the Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint macro
vulnerability. Does anyone have any sample malicious Excel or Powerpoint macros that work with Microsoft Office versions of Excel and Powerpoint 2000 or newer or have any info on where to get examples? I am having a hard time tracking down some real concrete proof of this vulnerability. This vulnerability could enable a user to create specially formed Excel or PowerPoint files that would bypass macro security and execute automatically when the document is opened. Examples of this macro vulnerability could allow an attacker to take actions such as changing or deleting data, communicating with web sites, or changing the macro security settings. Thanks, Andrew Andrew G |
