Hi there. I have a 3640 running enterprise plus 12.4( that won't see
a WIC-1ADSL card.

The WIC card is inserted into a NM 2E 2W Network Module, along with a
WIC-1T1DSU. I have swapped WIC slots, and tried booting just with the
ADSL WIC, no luck.

The card is a known good, since it lights up to OK in a 2611.

Am I missing something here?

Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks

Wow found my answer. The Network Module does not support the
WIC-1ADSL. Wierd.

Note: For the Cisco 3600, ADSL is not supported on WIC NM-1E1R2W,
NM-1E2W, or NM-2E2W

Oh well, off to ebay I go.

You can use a NM-2FE2W module. It works for me:

Not surprising at all. The NM-xE cards are old, proabably EOL, while ADSL
WICs are pretty new.

These are the NM's that support the WIC-1ADSL:

NM-2W
NM-1FE2W
NM-1FE2W-V2
NM-2FE2W
NM-2FE2W-V2
NM-1FE1R2W
NM-1FE1R2W-V2

I have:

1 x NM-1FE2W USED @ $450
4 x NM-1FE1R2W USED $425/each [equivalent use as NM-
1FE2W]
20 x NM-2FE2W USED @ $700/each

ALL GUARANTEED to be REAL, CISCO ORIGINAL. NO
counterfeits! Let me know if you need anything
