Here's my story: I can indeed connect to wireless from a local coffee shop and from the library, no problem. It connects automatically.
I connected once from my apartment via linksys, but I haven't seen that connection again. An upstairs neighbor has graciously offered to allow me to connect to her wireless. It is not locked, the signal is very good, however I cannot connect. It says "acquiring network address" and eventually fails. There are a few other wireless connections in my building that I tried to connect to as a test and those do not work either. What can I do here? Thanks for your help. Cheers, > Marc marcovee |
