Default Re:WinxpDISABLEZEROConfigation.exe

The problem is when i start my computer it takes for ever to start up
routine. I then find the cpu usage is at 99% or more. I go into task manager
and find this process hogging all the cpu: WinxpDISABLEZEROConfigation.exe.
I close this but my computer is still very sluggish. can any one help in this
matter.

I have three desktop computers all running Belkin Wireless cards. and a new
Belkin ADSL Modem with high speed mode wireless G router. Model F5D7633x4 I
aslo have a laptop. Everything was working fine until a few months ago? yes I
have put up with it that long, because I cannot find what the problem is. I
think it has something to do with Belkin.

This may be Belkin's app that disables WZC in favor of using Belkin's own
wireless configuration tool, or it may be malware.

I'm far from the first to say this, but
Google is your friend.

I suggest a scan with some uptodate malware detectiion/removal tools as well as
an antivirus scan

The ones I use are
AdAware SE http://www.lavasoft.de/ there is a free version if you look hard
enough)
Spybot S&D http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/

Evidently you are not alone. There are various claims that the file can be
deleted without affecting the Belkin connection software - or you can use XP
wireless zero instead:
