Default DVD Verdict reviews: DR. DOLITTLE 3, BRATZ: GENIE MAGIC, and more!

Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of AMITYVILLE: IT'S ABOUT TIME,
BRATZ: GENIE MAGIC, DEEP PURPLE: LIVE IN CALIFORNIA '74, DR. DOLITTLE
3, IT WAITS, THE KILLING TIME, MEETING DADDY, TIM TYLER'S LUCK, and
UPRESSPLAY VOLUME 1:

AMITYVILLE: IT'S ABOUT TIME (reviewed by David Johnson, overall
score 69/100):
"Hickory-dickory-dock, no one gives a crap."

BRATZ: GENIE MAGIC (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 50/100):
"It sucks. Or rather, suckz."

FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/bratzgeniemagic.php

DEEP PURPLE: LIVE IN CALIFORNIA '74 (reviewed by Steve Evans, overall
score 65/100):
"This was not rock-n-roll's finest hour, but may have served as
reference material a decade later when Rob Reiner decided to film This
is Spinal Tap, a spot-on satire of hard rockers who flaunt their big
hair, stupidity, and comically shaped 'lectric guitars."

DR. DOLITTLE 3 (reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall score 65/100):
"For some reason Maya Dolittle (Kyla Pratt, Fat Albert) has the gift
to talk to the animals just like her father and older sister. Yet for
some reason, neither of the other Dolittles that can talk to animals
is here to help poor Maya as she comes of age around chatty dogs and
pithy monkeys."

IT WAITS (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 40/100):
"The vast majority of modern horror flicks are boring and stupid, and It
Waits is a modern horror flick, so its stands to reason that one could
use those two adjectives to describe this movie, correct? Absolutely."

FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/itwaits.php

THE KILLING TIME (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 68/100):
"Apart from Kiefer's over-the-top goofiness at the end when he goes
completely nutty, I don't see anything else new or worthwhile that would
earn this flick a recommendation."

FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/killingtime.php

MEETING DADDY (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 65/100):
"Meeting Daddy is one of those films that probably looked marginally
entertaining on paper, but upon its translation to the three-dimensional
realm, someone (my guess is the Crappy Movie Monster) sucked all the
energy and fun out of it."

FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/meetingdaddy.php

TIM TYLER'S LUCK (reviewed by Mac McEntire, overall score 74/100):
"That's some seriously eye-popping animal carnage right there."

UPRESSPLAY VOLUME 1 (reviewed by Bill Gibron, overall score 70/100):
"About the only place this disc shines is in the bonus feature
category. Each film gets its own special section and its own selection
of added content."
