I recently purchased a Cisco 806 router and am attempting to configure
both vpn tunneling and SSH. When I try to enter the "crypto" command
or "ip ssh" command, they are not valid. I am fairly certain that I
have the IOS which supports IPSEC 3DES which should in turn support
SSH functionality. Posted is my "show version":

No, your router doesn't have a crypto image. You need to have a
c806-k9o3sy6-mz image. -k9- stands for 3DES image and -k8- stands for DES.

I went ahead and upgraded to the k9 image and now have full 3DES and
ssh functionality. Thank you.
