That doesn't matter.

Think of it as mini-MCSE. It's a difficult test. Be sure you know your
Exchange and wizards. It sounds like this will be your first test, so I
would recommend to start with something simpler.

it was a long test

i took it last thursday, im a dumbass because i didnt study, but
wanted to go in to know better what i was up against. i got mi
600's with 700 being a passing score. i have very very littl
technical knowledge as i am more on the sales side of things.

i definatly agree with the post about knowing the wizards, etc. lot
of questions like that

several questions pertained to dns and dhcp as well

HI Aman,

I took the test a few months ago and honestly it was so easy that I
complained to Microsoft that they were making meaningless the letters MCP.
However if I am not mistaken there were 50 questions and 170 minutes.
Without studying and with a fever I finished in 65 minutes and scored an 897.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

I posted a complaint about the change in this Exam, it was remove3d from
the newsgroup.

Why
Is microsoft unwilling to have complaints aired???

The complaint was:
How can you change a EXAM, without first
1/ Suppling courseware
2/ Changing the course (which is sold to us at a cost)
3/ Informing GOLD partners that the EXAM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SBS.
4/ Stopping Partners from needing this Exam for SBS valididation.

This is a valid complaint

Default RE: 70-282 Exam Information

Hi Jim.

I had not seen your initial complaint, but let me answer it here. Microsoft
changed the exam because there were too many complaints that the original was
too easy. I don't remember the exact number but the pass rate was in the
stratosphere.

Having said that they did not change the subject material. The courseware
is the same and the material being tested is the same. None of that has been
changed.

It is not that 70-282 has nothing to do with SBS, that is not true. It is
just not excusively on SBS and it never was. It is titled Planning,
Deploying, and Managing a Network Solution for the Small and Medium-Sized
Business. Is SBS a big part of that? Yes. Is it the only aspect of it? Not
at all.

As for stopping partners from needing this exam for SBS validation that is
firstly to my knowledge not true. The requirements for joining the Small
Business Specialist Community (SBSC) have not changed. It is also known as
an equalizer for smaller companies who would not qualify for GOLD Partner
status. It is the one domain where Registered Partners and God Certified
Partners are treated equally.

Good luck to you!

Mitch
