In Windows 2003, XP, 2000, NT4, you can enable file-level auditing and
review the security logs to see what was deleted. Granted, this only works for periods of time after auditing is enabled. You *may* be able to utilize something like BadCopyPro or Norton's -- Bob Christian II MVP - LCS http://bobchristian.blogspot.com - Blog "Arnel" <> wrote in message news:86F90F42-BD87-443C-80A7-... > Anyone know if there is a log file that lists items that were deleted in > Windows any version? yep, the last answer does help you, look for the eventvwr after enabling
audit on the system and on the files/folders, but please, post on the correct newsgroup =?Utf-8?B?Zm1zbWNzZQ==?= |
