Default deleted files


Anyone know if there is a log file that lists items that were deleted in
Windows any version?

In Windows 2003, XP, 2000, NT4, you can enable file-level auditing and
review the security logs to see what was deleted. Granted, this only works
for periods of time after auditing is enabled.

You *may* be able to utilize something like BadCopyPro or Norton's

yep, the last answer does help you, look for the eventvwr after enabling
audit on the system and on the files/folders, but please, post on the correct
newsgroup
