exam 70-121

I take the exam 70-121 and it was really obsolete about licensing matter. Can
anyone share the same impression?

i dont know if i would say it is "obsolete information"

the thing that stinks about this test is there is really no releven
licensing materials for you to study off of. yes, there is an onlin
test that microsoft hosts, but it is so far off from what is on th
test. only real study materials is real world experianc with al
types of licensing programs, except msaer, as this is not covered b
70-121. one would have to have great knowlege of microsof
open/select/value and enterprise agreement and subscription to pass
and i mean great knowledge

i took it 2 times and failed both, just shy of the pass level

and i have been selling microsoft licensing for 2 years

it was a rough one

Yes i'm
i'm dealing with microsoft customers everyday....and i'm licensing
specialist...
Belive me that the test exam is really obsolete i took 1 times with score of
660 or somenthing like that.
I sent my feed back to the appropriate microsoft office but i received a so
stupid answer that i cannot include in this post.
Anyway 130 euro put in a garbage for nothing
No way to take another time the same exam

The test tests your reading comprehension skill more than your knowledge on
rules of those licensing program. There are online tutorials available in
the Partners Web. You should also read the "Microsoft Licensing Reseller
Handbook For Microsoft Solution Selling Partners (February 2005)". It's
freely available for download but I lost the link. Exam 121 and 122 are
overlapping. You should also study the large organization licensing
solution before you try 121.

I am not a software sales so I don't know the details in the recent changes
about the Open Value Licensing program. I've taken the exams. I found the
contents in the exam are align to what I found in the online tutorial and in
the handbook.
