Degree VS Certification

I am also studying toward my Msc. However, I think she is better off to get
some certs rather than Msc. It is because post graduate degree is completely
useless if you are not working in R&D. In addition, the return for a master
degree is the lowest among degrees.
BTW, why not do a phd?
