Unless you specified a different directory when you installed 2003, it
probably overwrote 2002. Rather than mess around I would say your best bet
is to just install 2002 again.

IT could be that the system has removed some support files or that the
references to those files have not been restored properly.

Uninstall Office 2003 and then reinstall Office 2002.

Default RE: Question

Here is my thought on this problem.....

When you do an install even an upgrade it is supposed to remove all
other instances of the previous version. Put in your CD run setup again and
try using repair if the options of repair, modify or remove come up. If you
do not get those options and it asks for type of install do a full install
and ensure you check off everything "Run all from computer" . Do not forget
to back up all your office type documents before doing any install, modify,
repair, or uninstall of the software. If that fails to work for you another
option would be to backup all of your office documents then make a clean
uninstall of your current office software, then do a clean install of your
new offcie software. It may or may not ask you for a reboot of the system,
but after each evolution you should at a minimum do a "Hot Boot" of the
system.

Bets Regards,

J
