Default running games in a window

hey ppl.
i'm basically what you would call... an idiot, as far as computers go
(that's funny bacause i work in a computer store as a tech)

i've been trying to run games in windows. as in things like diablo I & II,
NFS underground, you get the picture, these games run in full screen, but i
want them to run in a window. (you see i have a tv capture card, and i would
like to watch tv and play these games during the ads, and no, i wont just buy
a tv, because.. well because i like to be dificult, lol)

thanx in advance

p.s. i have windows XP (if that helps)

Sometimes Alt-Enter works. As for the performance...you will need a really
beefy video card and a chunk O' Ram.

No, actually, it's not funny as it's too close to the norm these days ...
