Default NFS shares (Windows to Unix) chown issues

I am running a dual node NAS cluster with NFS share to unix. I am using
advanced mapping with active directory (SFU3.0).

Most shares seem to funtion correctly, one particular share is exhibiting
one issue. Users can vi, touch, rm, cd, ls and the rest.

Mapped users cannot chown files. Root can take ownership of files and
directories but, root likewise cannot change ownership of files or
directories to that of mapped users.
