Microsoft Certification - Changing drive letter

Default Changing drive letter


When I installed XP I somehow made a small partision and
it was named C: So I made the large partision D: If I
swap those drive letters will it cause any problems?

Hi Larry, yes it will, the O/S is setup on C Drive and
not that o D, therefore it will not read NTL bootloader
and subsequently lose ur bootup, you can however delete
the D partition and have the whole hard drive returned to
normal, what I suggest is that you obtain a copy of
Partition Magic 8.0, that will assist you in all manners
of partitioning your drive, make space for new operating
systems etc, good luck
