I wish to create a boot disk so my son can start his
computer up using A:\ and play some old DOS games...they do not play well under the MSDOS prompt in windows...what files do I need...is there a site I can go to and download this file...I know I need a config.sys file and autoexec bat file that will load the CD rom drive for his dos games but I do not know what lines to put in the autoexec.bat file to make this work? I would say go to http://www.bootdisk.com and look for one there. Mainly
you'll need a DOS disk with CD-ROM support (if the game is on CD). You could get boot98SE.exe and take off the FDISK and Format commands when it's installed. How you do it, is download the file to your hard drive. Put a blank floppy in the drive, and run the file. It will install itself to the floppy. Patrick -- Smile... Someone out there cares deeply for you...
