Default Clearing past search history

Could anyone tell me how to clear my past search history on the "Search" line
of for example the Yahoo or Comcast web pages. Every single search I have
performed drops down from the drop box when I press to enter a new one. I now
how to clear my URL address history, but how in the world do I erase all my
previous searches on the search lines? Also, when I search numbers on the
White Pages website, all of the previously searched numbers come up in the
drop box?

What makes you think that a newsgroup dedicated to discussions of issues
around Microsoft certification would be a good place to pose a question like
this? How about looking around for a newsgroup that's dedicated to
discussions of whatever browser you're using?
