Default Scanning my disk for errors

When I try to scan my C drive, it keeps starting over
saying there is another program writing to the disk. I
have turned off my screen saver, and wall paper, but that
did not help. It will go about 75% then stop an start over.

Help Please

Try running scandisk in safe mode.

I may not be completely certified, but I am completely certifiable.

Hi Lost & confused,

I experienced this once and the culprit is a little trojan file hiding in my system. Try running anti spyware (like adware or spybot) to see if this is the cause of your problem. It might also be a good idea to run antivirus on your system if have have not done so for sometime.

Hope this helps.
