Default REQ: Suggestions on Certification Path

We have a 59 y/o staffer who is pretty good with FP 200X,
not too bad with Access and generally has good basic
computer hardware and software familiarity (Excel, FoxPro,
Word, etc.) He has expressed an interest in going down a
certification path toward Internet development skills.
Since I don't find an MOU for FP, I'm wondering if anybody
is able to jump-start our thinking process with some entry-
point suggestions? We would rather start gently and work
our way up, I think. All philosophies welcome!

I would have to suggest looking into the CIW certification courses. It
would allow for exposure to different web technologies on his way to
certification. As for starting gently: CIW Associate is very gentle.
