That is terrible. Do a Search on *.cpl to find all the names. For example,
to open the System snap-in, you can type sysdm.cpl and the Run dialog box and press Enter to bring that up. If you have System Restore running - you might be able to roll-back to a previous date this way. Click on the System Restore tab (as long as the System Restore box isn't checked, it is running). Then, you can open the directory C:\WINDOWS\system32\Restore and double-click the file rstrui.exe to run the System Restore wizard. Follow the prompts to restore your system to an earlier time.
