Fox Studio Classics - R1 vs R2

I have been collecting the R1 collection of Fox Studio Classics for a
while. Their web site is incredibly poor, so it's hard to keep up with
the correct release list. It seems like it has stopped being updated,
but now I see that there is a new collection for R2 where they all of a
sudden released many more titles than the R1 series ever had. What's
going on? Will the R2 films that haven't been released on R1 be
released later, or do I have to keep up on two different collections in
two regions? If someone is up to date on the Fox mess, please let me
know. And I would really appreciate a link to a complete list of films
with spine numbers. I can't believe Fox don't have the brains to put up
a well arranged site such as Criterion has done. Thanks in advance!

There haven't been any Studio Classics released since November 2005.

Just about everything that has been released under the Studio Classics
banner in the UK has been released in the US, just not all as Studio
Classics. Among the "extra titles" released as SC in the UK included
the US "War Classics" titles, some of their John Wayne titles, some
of their Marilyn Monroe titles, etc.

As far as I can tell, the only title in the UK Studio Classics series
that has not had any release in the US is VIVA ZAPATA (which I'd ordered
from Amazon UK for my sister

It could be worse. Have you noticed what Fox has released under the
Studio Classics series in Japan? Given that Fox has distribution
rights in Japan to a number of films that are distributed in the US
by other studios, the SC series there has a number of titles that
Fox can't release in the US, under that banner or no.
