Default Goodtimes on Blu-ray

How long before the purveyors of 4th generation video transfers, from
ancient projected 16mm prints, decide to offer their public domain
"fun" on the Blu-ray format?

I cannot wait to hear a great soundtrack through a tin can, while
squinting at my high-def plasma screen...

Think they're planning it even as we speak--

For much the same reasons as the porn producers, who are also stamping
at the starting line, ready to jealously defend their historic family
pedigree of "VHS, CD-Rom, Internet, DVD...We sold EVERY new technology
first!--And we'll sell this one, too, don't think you can get ahead of
us this time!"

And actually--but for last-minute delays following suit with the other
studios--history was almost written that the FIRST Blu-Ray title for
sale would have been the IMAX "Chronos", from....cheap Goodtimes-esque
indie/salvage house Goldhil.

Derek Janssen (I mean, don't get me wrong, it's one of my favorites, but
the original DVD didn't have big-name parents either)

I don't feel GoodTimes is as bad as many people perceive them to be. I
have seen a few dvds that could have been better if the budget had been
there. I recently purchased directly from GoodTimes Entertainment the
entire Story Keepers series on dvd.for my niece and the video transfer
was far better on those 13 dvds than the 20th Century Fox dvd release
of the Easter Story Keepers full-length feature.
