I just bought Lady and the Tramp 2006 and it won't play reliably in my
Samsung DVD player. Is anyone aware of problems on this disk? Most of the time it won't load at all and says "check disk" on the screen. Sometimes it tries to work and there are macro blocks all over the screen. One time it came up in 4:3 mode pushed to the left of the screen instead of in the center. Even when it plays, it seems like it struggles to transition from the menu to the movie. I called Disney, they connected me to an engineer who told me to change a setting in my DVD player that I was connected to a 4:3 TV. I kept trying to argue with him that this had nothing to do with it. I have over 300 DVDs and they all play perfectly in my box, just not this one. Any ideas? Fred fdeckerNOSPAMM@aol.com |

Haven't heard this one for five years (ahh, remember the "Atlantis 2-disk"?), but you could try changing the default language selection on your hardware player from "English" to the generic setting (or VV). Having a specific setting tends to mix up more complicated-menu Disney disks. Derek Janssen (who only posted it once) Derek Janssen |
