Default Anyone know where to get cheap Star Trek DVD's?

Hey all,
I'm really interested in getting all of Trek on DVD. So far I have all
of TOS all the movies and seasons 2 and 3 of TNG. anyone know where i
can get cheap copies of the others? I recently came across a site called
Sci-Fi Box Sets (http://www.scifiboxsets.com/catalog/index.php) They
have box sets for seasons 1-7 or each of the Star Trek series on sale
for $224.00. I realize these aren't the region 1 series sets, but really
all I'm looking for is something with good quality that I can watch on
my DVD player without having to spend over $700 per series. Anyone have
any experience with this site, or these types of sets?

Thanks
Slim

I have no experience with this site and I haven't bought any blackmarket
DVDs. My sister bought a SW:AOTC and I didn't think it was as high a
quality as the R1 commercial disk. I noticed that on Ebay there are
lots of season sets selling for between 30 and 40 dollars or so each, so
I'd recommend that you consider those.

Many Costcos have the individual STNG, DS9 and Voyager season boxes going
for around 40 bucks right now.

Sure. Just rent them from Netflix and make copies using DVD Shrink...

Beware of the cheap sets on Ebay. I decided to take a chance and bought one
of the Asian bootleg sets for $30 to $40 a while back (probably over a year
ago) - one of the 'Next Generation" seasons, I believe. The quality was
fine, but there was one major problem - the last episode on each disc was
cut short anywhere from a couple to 5 minutes or more. That was a wasted
$30 to $40, but I think I did eventually get a partial refund from Ebay
after submitting a claim.

I don't know what they are going for now at retailers, but I ended up
getting all the season sets (legitimate Region 1, and new as in still
factory sealed) on Ebay from prices ranging from $55 to $85 each (including
shipping), which was much better than the typical retail price of $120 to
$150 at the time. It was a pain having to fool with Ebay auctions, but I
refused to pay over $100 a set at normal retail stores for old Star Trek
shows.

**In the last couple of weeks, the prices were cut in half for the
first 2 or 3 seasons of certain Star Trek series. Checking Amazon, I
think it's only DS9 and TNG, so far.

I was in Sam's club yesterday and noticed that a bunch of TNG sets and a
bunch of DS9 sets were discounted to 35 dollars or so, just like the
recent price reduction on Highlander and X-Files.
