Default Flaring problem

Hi folks. I have a couple of DVD's that "flare" green throughout several
scenes in the same spot. Is this the DVD's or my player? I don't have this
problem with other discs. These discs were bought recently, by the way.
Thanks for any input.

Were you able to try the disc in another player?

If any of them are THE MATRIX movies, they're supposed to be green....

It might actually help if you told us what discs you were watching, what
DVD player you're using, and what TV you're watching on.

Usenet -- 99% bullshit; 1% nuggets of wisdom. I contributed much to
the 99% today.

No. It just happened again while watching a FAMILY GUY disc. Part of the
screen, like a portion or band, goes green and stays that way for several
scenes. Previously it was LOTR:FOTR and lasted the entire council of Elrond
sequence. My player is cheap and more than a year old. Still would like some
real assistance. No slackers, please.
