finalizing a DVD after copying

Hello,

I converted some VHS family movies to DVD-RW using my DVD recorder.
However, I forgot to finalize the DVD-RW before making a copy of it to
DVD-R. The DVD-R is not recognized by the DVD recorder, nor by
Windows.

Is there a way to finalize my DVD-R disk after the copy, to make it
usable?

No, you cannot finalize the DVD-R. However you should be able to finalize
the DVD-RW.
