I'm trying to backup my dvd collection. I have a BTC that I'm looking to get
rid of. I have an older Pioneer that won't read any discs (I think I flashed
it wrong). I would like to move a DVD-DL as all of my stand alone players
are -R. I've tried Maxell, TDK, and Imation (3M I thnk) discs with the same
result. The burn starts and then quits after going just a little bit of the
way. If I could figure out a way to resurect my Pioneer then I wouldn't
worry about getting a new drive

If anyone can tell me a way to get the codes off of the blank media I have
I'd appreciate it. Also any recomendations for a better burner would be
appreciated.

Thanks.
