Hi, Does anyone know if there are any free programs for backing up DVD
movies as I want to store my originals so they don't get scratched. I've tried DVD Shrink3.2 but it fails to read some disks as a few are encrypted. Thanks Sammy Sam |

For any disks that Shrink has trouble with, try ripping them with
DVDDecrypter 1st, then shrinking and burning... Here's a tip.... don't let untrained apes handle your DVDs and you
don't need to worry about it. I can think of one legitimate use for "backing up" a DVD you own and you didn't mention it. - Jordan jordanlund@gmail.com |

Perhaps he wants to put the disk in and have the movie play, rather than have to sit through excess bullshit. Sounds pretty legit to me. The best way to backup a DVD is to reverse the plug in the wall for
your dvd player. That makes the motor run backwards which makes the dvd backup the same way you backup your car. I-got-VD@From-a-DVD.com |
