Blu Ray and Copy Protection

I won't buy it then. I take one of my progressive scan DVD players and
my widescreen LCD HDTV with me when I go camping. I will very
seldom have an internet connection where I like to camp.

When I am home, I may want to play the DVD with this combo,
or I may want to use my 65 inch HDTV and my other progressive
scan DVD player. I do not intend to buy any system that wants
to phone home in order to grant me permission to use something
that I have already paid money for.

I think he was giving an example of what you can do now and may not do
if the studios have their way with Blu-ray and the like

If there's electricity then it isn't camping.

He is right, what the hell type of camper are you that has to drag a LCD
big screen and a dvd player with you camping?

Exactly! Any camper worth his salt would have a portable DVD player with
a built-in LCD.

And how in the hell are you going to be able to hold onto that marshmallow
stick when one hand is holding the DVD player playing porno's and the other
hand is holding something else?
