1), A PUP NAMED SCOOBY DOO: VOLUME 1, and SEALAB 2021: SEASON THREE:
DAVEY AND GOLIATH: VOLUME 1 (reviewed by Paul Corupe, overall
score 80/100):
"Sure, the show was strongly rooted in Christian values, but it wasn't
always overt -- Davey and Goliath was cleverly focused on dramatizing
simple moral problems children might actually come across, and
presenting informed, considerate-minded decisions."

DEARS: FIRST CONTACT (VOLUME 1) (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall
score 50/100):
"Teenage guy's friends who resent his luck at having a beautiful,
voluptuous girl living with him? Seen it."

DEMON LORD DANTE: DANTE AGONIZES (VOLUME 3) (reviewed by Bryan Byun,
overall score 55/100):
"I wish Nagai would adapt the entire Bible; I'd love to see the scene
where Moses blasts his way into the Pharaoh's temple in his robotic
exoskeleton and demands, 'Let my people go!' And the Pharaoh would
transform into a fifty-foot-tall tentacled demon with the head of a
teddy bear and, for unexplained reasons, gigantic naked boobies. Now
that would rock."

DORA THE EXPLORER: IT'S A PARTY (reviewed by Lacey Worrell, overall
score 87/100):
"In this collection, kids will be drawn in instantly by the party theme
in three of the four episodes. In the first episode, young viewers will
be particularly delighted to see Dora in a party dress at the end of the
episode, rather than her ever-present shorts and t-shirt."

GHOST IN THE SHELL: STAND ALONE COMPLEX (VOLUME 6) (reviewed by Rob
Lineberger, overall score 95/100):
"Each new fact puts a new spin on what came before, and if you give the
spiraling implications thought, you'll reach some very dark conclusions.
As a pure action and suspense vehicle, Volume Six is not as satisfying
as previous volumes. But in terms of sheer mental complexity, it ranks
at the top."

JUBEI-CHAN 2: RESURRECTION (VOLUME 1) (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall
score 72/100):
"If you are a 13-year-old girl who likes cutesy high school anime but
also enjoys samurai stories, make sure you check it out. Older anime
fans will need a very high tolerance level for super-deformed characters
and inane storytelling to make it to the cool action scenes."

NICK PICKS (VOLUME 1) (reviewed by Dennis Prince, overall score 85/100):
"There are some definite hits and misses in this collection but what's
most confounding is why the 'pu-pu platter' approach here when Paramount
already has a bevy of Nicktoon discs in release."

A PUP NAMED SCOOBY DOO: VOLUME 1 (reviewed by Lacey Worrell, overall
score 80/100):
"Keeping in mind that this DVD clocks in at 94 minutes, which is a
generous amount of time for a release of a TV cartoon on DVD, A Pup
Named Scooby Doo: Volume 1 is a great addition to your kids' DVD
library, especially if they are 8 or under. Adults may not find this DVD
as absorbing as the Scooby cartoons they remember watching as children
themselves, but this collection will be a hit with the little ones."

SEALAB 2021: SEASON THREE (reviewed by Mac McEntire, overall
score 85/100):
"If you're a fan, then you've already made up your mind about the
direction Sealab went during this season. If you're a newcomer to the
world of Sealab, we suggest you begin with the first season, and take it
from there."
