ABC NEWS PRESENTS: POPE JOHN PAUL II: HIS LIFE AND LEGACY (reviewed by
David Johnson, overall score 80/100):
"Despite the accolades bestowed upon him here, this program is not a straight-
up cheerleading exercise for PJPII. In fact, there is enough criticism
included for the disc to be called a feature of mixed reactions."

AT LAST THE 1948 SHOW (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall score 88/100):
"If you're a fan of Flying Circus, own all of the Python movies, and
desperately wish there was more, then purchasing At Last the 1948
Show is a no-brainer. It has much of the same magic with two of the
same guys, and is an interesting example of where that brand of humor
came from."

THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART: INDECISION 2004 (reviewed by Adam
Arseneau, overall score 95/100):
"I would be inherently suspicious of anyone who did not find this DVD
funny, and probably report you to the local authorities under suspicion
of being a robot, or a space alien. Or possibly both."

I DO (BUT I DON'T) (reviewed by Amanda DeWees, overall score 80/100):
"Even though Richards and Cain look as if they were assembled by a
committee to be movie stars, with their perfect teeth and splendid
physiques, they manage to come across as real people, bringing warmth
and a sense of enjoyment to the film. This is definitely the most
relaxed and natural I have ever seen Richards on screen; maybe she's
finally found her niche."

REMINGTON STEELE: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON (reviewed by Jeff Andreasen,
overall score 79/100):
"In watching Remington Steele: The Complete First Season, three things
crystallized for me: 1, this was a thin show...verythin; 2, Stephanie
Zimbalist's faux accent is really distracting; and 3, this is a perfect
example of early '80s television."

SLEDGE HAMMER! SEASON TWO (reviewed by Diane Wild, overall score
92/100):
"Sledge Hammer is gleefully politically incorrect, both in humor and in
content, appealing to people with a skewed sense of humor (hello, fellow
warped minds) and to those who like to write angry letters to networks
and DVD distributors about glorifying police brutality, violence,
misogyny, and gun worship in the media. But it's all in goofy,
subversive fun."

TALES FROM THE CRYPT: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON (reviewed by Patrick
Naugle, overall score 92/100):
"Tales from the Crypt will go down in history as one of the best horror
anthologies ever to grace the boob tube."

TOUR OF DUTY: SEASON THREE (reviewed by Ian Visser, overall score
80/100):
"Years before the visceral experience of Band of Brothers would reach
the air, Tour of Duty filled a niche on night-time television that had
been unoccupied for many years."
