The first season set was released a few years ago and then nothing
since then. I like the tv show a lot and I would have liked to watch them without the ads or the grainy tape (on EP) quality. Just about every other TV shows I wanted are already out and in some cases completed. -- When you hear the toilet flush, and hear the words "uh oh", it's already too late. - by anonymous Mother in Austin, TX To reply, replace digi.mon with phreaker.net Impmon |

Getting the **** over from greedy musicians with music rights. I wish they'd just replace the music with any old **** and just release the damn series. Napalm68 |

Here's one: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=870 Music rights have scuttled a **** load of tv series releases. Beavis and Butthead will never get a proper release due to this. Yes, Napal is right. I heard the same thing.
Charmed had the same problem because they used a lot of music especially when Piper had the club. To me, if the artists or record companies agreed to let it be in the series when it aired, then it should be stipulated in the contract that it can be used for any future format like DVD. If not, things will reach a point to where songs are not used in shows as much because it is too hard for them to get copyright clearance in the future when releasing it to DVD. Soap Operas are having the same problem at SoapNet. When General Hospital plays some songs in the ABC episode, sometimes it is a different song used when the same episode airs that exact same day on SoapNet. I see Malcolm In The Middle Season 1 was back in some stores I went to recently like it was reissued (everything's the same, no changes). Maybe with the new boom of everyone suddenly buying Seasonal DVDs, maybe they were hoping to cash in some more bucks to make Season 2 possible. jttsonlygirl@yahoo.com |

But Malcom in the Middle doesn't feature musical songs other than in the
opening credits, and one would miss that song. ††† Mr. Pope John Hole III The favor of your reply is requested. http://icasualties.org/oif/ "I once fought for two days with an arrow through my testicle." Kingdom of Heaven "You would make a destructive god, Mr. Hole, but as a human, you remain pathetic and ineffectual." -- Heck Mr. Pope John Hole III |

I thought that was the case too - from memory anyhow. It does have music in the episodes, but I slways just thought it was scored. Who knows. I have read it on MITM specifically (as with my previously posted link to TVShowsondvd). I wish they'd just release it. Napalm68 |
