New Releases: Ben-Hur, A&E Biographies & Garbo: Updated complete downloadable R1 DVD DB & info lists

On September 13th Warner Brothers will release the definitive edition of the
classic Ben-Hur. Retailing for $39.95 this four disc box set is filled with
extras. The first two discs contain the film in 2.76:1 anamorphic video and
Dolby 5.1 audio. The film was re-mastered using the original 65mm elements.
There is a commentary track featuring film historian T. Gene Hatcher and a
scene specific comments from actor Charlton Heston. The extras include:
Disc Three:
1925 Silent Version of Ben-Hur
presented in the Thames Television Restoration
stereophonic orchestral score by composer Carl Davis

Disc Four:
documentary Ben-Hur: The Epic That Changed Cinema
interviews with filmmakers like Ridley Scott and George Lucas about the
film's impact
Ben-Hur: The Making of an Epic hosted by Christopher Plummer
Directed by William Wyler documentary (featuring the last interview with
Wyler before his death)
